This page explains what the medical content on www.sunaycafer.com is, what it is not, and the limits within which it should be read. It applies to every page of this website, including treatment pages, the frequently asked questions and any material shared through the messaging channels listed here.

1. The content is for information only

Everything published on this website is general information about ear, nose and throat conditions and about nasal surgery. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis and not a treatment recommendation for any individual.

General information cannot take account of your medical history, your medication, your anatomy or your particular circumstances. Only a physician who has examined you can do that.

2. Reading this site does not create a doctor–patient relationship

No doctor–patient relationship is created by:

  • reading any page of this website;
  • sending a message through WhatsApp, e-mail, a contact form or social media;
  • receiving a general reply to such a message;
  • sending photographs and receiving general comments on them.

A doctor–patient relationship begins only after a face-to-face examination and formal acceptance as a patient. Any information given before that point is general orientation, not personal medical advice.

3. Always consult a physician

Do not use the content of this website to diagnose yourself, to start or stop a treatment, or to decide against seeing a doctor. If you have a symptom that concerns you, consult a qualified physician.

Do not delay seeking medical care because of something you have read here. If you have already been given advice by your own doctor, do not disregard it on the basis of general information published on this site.

4. Emergencies

This website and its messaging channels are not monitored around the clock. Messages may not be seen for many hours.

If you have an urgent medical problem:

  • Outside Turkey, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department.

Never use WhatsApp, e-mail or social media to report an emergency.

5. Results vary from person to person

Surgical and non-surgical outcomes depend on individual anatomy, skin quality, healing, age, general health and habits such as smoking. No result is guaranteed, and no page on this site should be read as a promise of a particular outcome.

Where before-and-after photographs are shown or discussed, they are the results of the individual patients concerned, shared with their consent. They are records of what happened in those cases — not a prediction of what will happen in yours.

Recovery times given on this website — for example "back to daily life in about seven to ten days" — describe a typical course. They are not a commitment, and individual recovery may be shorter or considerably longer.

6. Price information is indicative

No prices are published on this website. Any figure mentioned in a message, a phone call or a conversation before examination is an estimate for orientation only. It is not a quotation, not an offer and not binding.

A price can only follow a plan, and a plan can only follow an examination.

7. Risks and complications

The risks listed on treatment pages are not exhaustive. Every operation and every procedure carries risk, including risks that are rare, unforeseeable or specific to an individual.

The risks that apply to you personally are discussed at consultation and again during the informed consent process before any procedure. That conversation — not this website — is where your risk profile is established.

8. Currency of the content

Medical knowledge changes. Each treatment page carries a "Last updated" date and the name of the physician who reviewed it. Content that has not been updated recently may not reflect current practice.

Pages are reviewed periodically, but no undertaking is given that every page reflects the latest published evidence at the moment you read it.
